Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions
How do I book a consultation?
Click any “Book My Consultation” button on our website, choose your service, pick a time that works in your timezone, and pay securely online. You’ll receive a confirmation with a Zoom link within minutes. Alternatively, message me on WhatsApp at +91-9999076966 and I’ll guide you through the process.
Is an online reading as accurate as in-person?
Absolutely. Vedic astrology relies on your birth details (date, time, place) — not physical proximity. Whether we connect over Zoom, phone, or in person, the chart and the insights remain the same. Many of my most meaningful sessions have been with clients connecting from Singapore, the US, and Europe.
What do I need to prepare before the session?
Your exact date of birth, birth time (as precise as possible), and birthplace. Also helpful: 3-5 specific questions or life areas you want clarity on. That’s it. Come with an open mind and I’ll handle the rest.
How long does a session last?
Sessions typically range from 30 minutes (Tarot) to 90 minutes (full birth chart analysis), depending on the service you choose. I never rush a session — your questions always get the time they deserve.
What languages do you offer sessions in?
I conduct sessions in Hindi and English. If you have a preference, please let me know at the time of booking.
Do you offer sessions for people outside India?
Yes! I work with clients across the globe. All sessions are conducted via Zoom, and scheduling is flexible to accommodate different time zones.
Astrology Questions
What is Vedic astrology?
Vedic astrology (Jyotish) is an ancient Indian system of astrology based on the sidereal zodiac. It provides detailed insights into personality, life events, career, relationships, and spiritual growth by analyzing the positions of planets at the time of your birth.
How is Vedic astrology different from Western astrology?
The main difference lies in the zodiac system used. Vedic astrology uses the sidereal (star-based) zodiac, which accounts for the precession of the equinoxes. This means your Vedic Sun sign may be different from your Western sign. Vedic astrology also places greater emphasis on the Moon sign and uses a unique system of planetary periods (dashas) for timing predictions.
What is a Janam Patri (birth chart)?
A Janam Patri is your personal astrological birth chart. It’s a map of the sky at the exact moment of your birth, showing the positions of all planets across 12 houses. This chart serves as the foundation for all astrological analysis and predictions.
Will you try to scare me or sell me expensive remedies?
Never. My practice is built on the principle that astrology is a mirror, not a verdict. I provide clarity and practical guidance — not fear-based predictions. Any remedies I suggest are simple (mantra, meditation, mindful routines) and I never pressure anyone to purchase gemstones or rituals. If I do suggest a gemstone, I recommend lab-certified options only.
Can astrology predict exact events or dates?
Astrology indicates trends, tendencies, and favorable/challenging periods rather than exact events on exact dates. I can identify windows of opportunity or caution, but free will always plays a role in how life unfolds.
What if I don’t know my exact birth time?
An approximate birth time can still yield useful insights, though precision improves accuracy. If your birth time is unknown, I use a process called birth time rectification to narrow it down. For Tarot readings, no birth time is needed at all.
Tarot Questions
What is Tarot reading?
Tarot is an intuitive tool that uses a deck of 78 symbolic cards to provide guidance and clarity on present situations, challenges, and potential outcomes. It’s especially helpful for immediate questions and decision-making.
Do I need to provide my birth details for a Tarot reading?
No. Tarot readings work with present energy and your specific question. No birth details are needed — just an open mind and a clear question.
Can Tarot predict the future?
Tarot reveals the energy and direction of your current path. It shows likely outcomes based on present circumstances and choices. Think of it as a GPS — it shows the route you’re on, but you can always change direction.
How do online Tarot readings work?
During our Zoom session, I draw cards live while you watch. You may be asked to choose numbers or intuitively select cards. The reading is fully interactive, and you can ask follow-up questions throughout.
Appointments & Sessions
How do I pay for my session?
Payment is made securely online at the time of booking. We accept major payment methods through our secure payment gateway. For international clients, we can also arrange payment via PayPal or bank transfer.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
You can reschedule up to 12 hours before your session at no charge. Cancellations made less than 12 hours in advance are non-refundable but can be rescheduled once. If I need to cancel for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund or priority rescheduling.
Can I record my session?
Yes, you are welcome to record the session for your personal reference. I also provide written notes or a summary for birth chart consultations upon request.
What platform is used for sessions?
All sessions are conducted via Zoom. You’ll receive a unique Zoom link in your confirmation email after booking. Phone consultations are also available upon request.
Can I book a session for someone else?
Yes, you can book a session as a gift. You’ll need the person’s birth details (for astrology) and they should be present during the session. Gift certificates are also available.
Reports & Follow-Up
Do you provide written reports?
Yes. For Janam Patri and detailed consultations, I provide a comprehensive written report that you can refer to long after the session. Reports are typically delivered within 3-5 business days.
Can I ask follow-up questions after the session?
Absolutely. I offer a 7-day window after your session during which you can reach out via WhatsApp for brief clarifications at no additional charge. For detailed follow-up discussions, a new session can be booked at a discounted rate.
How often should I consult an astrologer?
For general guidance, an annual check-in aligned with your birthday (solar return) is ideal. For specific situations — career changes, relationships, health concerns — consult as needed. I never encourage dependency on readings.
What is the difference between a consultation and a written report?
A consultation is a live, interactive session where we discuss your chart in real-time and you can ask questions. A written report is a detailed document covering your chart’s key aspects, delivered after the consultation or as a standalone service.
