What a Janam Kundli reading actually looks at
A Vedic birth chart is a map of the sky at the exact minute and place you were born. It is calculated in the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa, so your Vedic Sun or Moon sign can differ from the one you know from Western horoscopes.
Acharya Shweta reads the chart as a whole, in the Parashari tradition she studied at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Houses are counted whole-sign by default, and divisional charts such as the navamsa (D9) for relationships or the dashamsa (D10) for career are brought in when your questions need them.
Then comes the part people value most: timing. Your Vimshottari dasha shows which chapter of life is running now and which areas it switches on. Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu in transit are read against your chart, not your sun sign.

How is Vedic astrology different from the horoscope in the newspaper?
A newspaper horoscope is written for a twelfth of the world at once. A Vedic reading uses your exact birth time and place, the sidereal zodiac, your dasha periods and where the planets actually are today. That is also why your Vedic sign may differ from your Western one.
What if I don’t know my exact birth time?
Mention it when you book. An approximate time still allows a useful reading, and Acharya Shweta can narrow it down using dates of a few major events in your life before discussing anything time-sensitive.
Can one reading cover career, marriage and health together?
It can touch all of them, because the whole chart is in front of her. You will get more from the hour by naming two or three priorities so each gets proper attention. Health is discussed as wellbeing and patterns, never as a medical diagnosis.
